Team news: The Dockers have made five changes for their clash with the Hawks, recalling Murphy Reid from a groin injury, as well as rested trio Heath Chapman, Jye Amiss, and Sam Switkowski. Justin Longmuir will also welcome Brandon Walker back into the side for just his second game of the season, and first since Round 1. Key defender Brennan Cox is out due to a calf injury, while Judd McVee, Chris Scerri, Tobyn Murray, and Bailey Banfield have been omitted. Meanwhile, the Hawks have made one change, with Jack Ginnivan returning from a back issue, Jack Dalton the unlucky one to drop out.

Team news: Big news for the Cats and bad news for the Blues. For Geelong, Max Holmes is the headline inclusion, with Mark Blicavs and Oli Wiltshire also coming back into the team. Sam De Koning, Jack Martin, and Jhye Clark are the unlucky omissions. For the Blues, Will Hayward didn't get up, and Nick Haynes couldn't get over his ankle complaint, so Wade Derkson comes in as defensive cover.
