Round 6 of the 2026 AFLW season kicks off with a clash between Hawthorn and North Melbourne on Friday, before a slate of four big matches on Saturday as we near the midway point of the season.

Hawthorn vs. North Melbourne

Team news: In awful news for the Hawks, captain Emily Bates has been ruled out for the remainder of the season due to an ACL injury she sustained last week. The Kangas could also be without a trio of stars, with Kate Shierlaw (concussion) set to miss and Tahlia Randall (elbow) and Libby Birch (knee) both under injury clouds.

Collingwood vs. Geelong

Team news: Key Collingwood pair Sarah Rowe (groin) and Ruby Schleicher (hamstring) will both be assessed late in the week to determine their availability to face the Cats.

Melbourne vs. Carlton

Team news: Three inclusions could help give the Blues a massive boost for this week's massive clash against Melbourne, with Sophie McKay, Keeley Sherar, and Lauren Bella all chances to return. But superstar Darcy Vescio has suffered a calf setback. The Demons will be forced into making at least one change with Eliza McNamara suffering a fractured jaw last week.
