News: 3 days agoHead coach Sandy Brondello announced Sunday that Mabrey (adductor) will be re-evaluated in a few weeks.

Spin: It sounds like Mabrey's status is in doubt for the remainder of the year, as the Tempo are already eliminated from playoff contention. Toronto will be out of action until Sep. 18, following its next three contests while the WNBA accommodates the FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup. Kia Nurse and Isabelle Harrison should continue to help pick up the slack going forward.
