News: 2 days agoHead coach Sandy Brondello said Thursday that Sykes (foot) has taken part in individual work at practice recently, Zulfi Sheikh of Sportsnet reports.
Spin: Sykes has been sidelined since mid-June due to a plantar fascia injury, and it's not yet clear when she'll be able to return to game action. The Tempo have just two more games remaining before the All-Star break, and it certainly seems possible that the team will hold her out until at least late July in order to build her up during the league's layoff.
