Andree Jeglertz is delighted with how quickly Manchester City have gelled in their Women's Super League title defence.
City are the only team to have won their opening two matches of the new season, beating Birmingham City and Aston Villa.
Ahead of Friday's clash with Liverpool, head coach Jeglertz told a news conference: "It's very early but we've played two games, scored seven goals, created a lot of chances, so very pleased with that.
"But also the individual performances. A lot of players are ready now, they've found relationships, a couple of new players coming in and they are contributing to the team already this early in September. We are on a very good level at the moment I think."
England winger Lauren Hemp has stood out with her performances, and Jeglertz believes the best is yet to come from the 26-year-old.
"I think how she enjoys playing football, the environment she's having here with her team-mates, she has all the capacity to keep on developing and taking the next step up," the Swede said.
"What she's doing every week for us is amazing."

Liverpool finished 11th last season but have four points from their first two matches, and head coach Gareth Taylor has called for an energetic display at the Joie Stadium.
Former City boss Taylor told club media: "To still be unbeaten is important for us and I do think the players deserve a lot of credit for the passion, desire and quality they are showing.
"We want to be really aggressive with and without the ball. That has got to be our way."
