CHICAGO -- Bears tight end Cole Kmet exited Chicago's 30-24 win Thursday night against the Patriots on a cart after injuring his right knee in the fourth quarter.
Kmet caught an 8-yard pass from Caleb Williams with 5:46 to play. As Kmet ran up the Bears' sideline, he lowered his body and collided with Patriots cornerback Christian Gonzalez and linebacker Robert Spillane.
Kmet absorbed a heavy collision and immediately grabbed for his knee while on the ground. He got to his feet with the help of athletic trainers and was placed on a cart.
Kmet gave fans a thumbs-up as he was taken to the locker room and was quickly ruled out for the remainder of the game.
He finished with three catches for 28 yards.
