Seattle Seahawks running back Zach Charbonnet, who has yet to play this season, has been activated off the physically unable to perform list and added to the 53-man roster on Thursday.
Charbonnet, a co-starter last season who rushed for 730 yards and 12 touchdowns alongside Kenneth Walker III, has been working his way back from February ACL surgery. He was a full participant in practice Wednesday for the first time since he returned to practice Oct. 1.
No word has been made on his playing status for Sunday night's game against the Kansas City Chiefs, but coach Mike Macdonald on Monday said there was a "possibility" that he could see action "in some capacity."
"Zach is going to have a full week's worth of reps, so that's exciting," Macdonald said.
In a corresponding move, the Seahawks placed tight end Elijah Arroyo on injured reserve after he suffered a shoulder injury last week against the Denver Broncos. Sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter that Arroyo will have season-ending surgery on Thursday.
