Tomlinson was one of the most dynamic, versatile running backs of all time, and a thoroughly dominating force in fantasy football. His 3,451.32 fantasy points are the most among running backs during the ESPN fantasy era, and third-most in NFL history. Tomlinson's 2006 MVP campaign was the greatest in fantasy history, his 481.1 points scored and 31 total touchdowns setting single-season records, with an astonishing 28 of those touchdowns being scored across a 10-week span. He was a top-five overall fantasy scorer every year from 2002-07; only five other post-merger players have six or more such total seasons in their careers.
