5x5 Men's Basketball: China vs. Philippines (Group C)

Gilas Pilipinas' campaign at the 20th Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya came to an end with a disappointing 105-61 defeat at Aichi International Arena, ending the Philippines' bid to defend its gold medal. However, the 44-point setback left them with a minus-17 point differential, worse than Jordan's minus-5 and Saudi Arabia's minus-11. The result eliminated the Philippines from contention for one of the two best third-place spots across the three groups.

Women's Football: Philippines vs. Uzbekistan (Group G)

Natalie Collins' late equalizer rescued a point for the Filipinas, who opened their 20th Asian Games women's football campaign with a 1-1 draw at Gifu Nagaragawa Stadium. 5x5 Men's Basketball: Philippines vs. Bahrain (Group C)
