Baylor quarterback DJ Lagway has again been ruled out with an ankle injury, clearing the way for Nate Bennett to make his second straight start in Saturday's game against Louisiana Tech.
Lagway, a transfer from Florida, had been listed as doubtful. He suffered the injury in the Bears' loss to Auburn in the opener and missed last week's game against Prairie View A&M.
Bennett threw for 314 yards and accounted for four touchdowns against Prairie View A&M. He also had two interceptions.
Louisiana Tech, meanwhile, will be without starting quarterback Blake Baker due to a hand injury. Trey Kukuk will get the start for the Bulldogs.
