Rutgers quarterback Dylan Lonergan, who sat out last week's game due to injury, has been cleared and started against No. 12 USC Trojans on Saturday.
Star tailback Antwan Raymond, who finished third in the Big Ten in rushing yards (1,241) and rushing touchdowns (13) last season, also is playing against the Trojans after being listed as questionable with an undisclosed injury.
Lonergan suffered an undisclosed injury in the opener against UMass and did not play last week against Boston College as AJ Surace made his first career start.
Lonergan threw for 242 yards and two touchdowns in the loss to UMass but was intercepted three times and lost a fumble.
Raymond has rushed for 176 yards on 41 carries this season.
