North Carolina safety Myles Wolfolk has been declared academically ineligible, the school said Thursday.
Wolfolk, who started the opener against Syracuse last week and had five tackles, fell behind on his graduate coursework this past semester, which just recently ended. Wolfolk, a senior, graduated last December with degrees in sociology and communications.
Because Wolfolk is unable to participate moving forward, he is expected to begin preparing for the 2021 NFL draft.
