Oregon's 'Shoe Ducks' jab at Ohio State tops college football Week 10 trolls

Oregon goes into Columbus and wins big over Ohio State (1:26)

A Week 10 college football slate full of ranked matchups and close finishes meant the trolls could mean a little more. No. 23 Oregon understood the assignment Saturday.

The Ducks headed to Ohio Stadium and took down No. 12 Ohio State 41-28.

Oregon stunned Ohio State with 38 unanswered points -- the fifth-most unanswered points allowed by Ohio State at home since the stadium opened in 1922, according to ESPN Research. The 41 points were the second most allowed by Ohio State during Ryan Day's tenure. The Buckeyes have suffered two straight losses for the first time since November 2011.

Ohio Stadium is known as "The Shoe" due to its unique double-deck horseshoe design, and a popular rallying cry for Oregon is "Sco Ducks." The Ducks used that information to come up with a clever caption for its postgame graphic: "Shoe Ducks."

Here are the top college football trolls from Week 10.

No. 11 Notre Dame 31, No. 1 Miami 24

When Notre Dame and Miami match up, it's bound to bring fireworks. Saturday was no exception as the previously undefeated Hurricanes visited the Fighting Irish in South Bend, Indiana.

Notre Dame held a 24-3 lead early in the third quarter, but Miami fought back, eventually trimming its deficit to seven points with 9:53 in the fourth. The Irish then missed a field goal attempt on the ensuing drive before they got a big stop at their 18-yard line. Miami had one more chance to win it, but Notre Dame held on.

The Irish have paid homage to legendary Notre Dame coach Lou Holtz throughout the season. Holtz died in March and led the Irish during the famous "Catholics vs. Convicts" game, which they won in 1988. Notre Dame dedicated its win to Holtz, but also poked fun at Miami by referencing "The U" in its post.

No. 5 Alabama 31, No. 14 LSU 13

After falling behind 13-0, Alabama put together a statement win in Baton Rouge against LSU, scoring the game's final 21 points.

The Crimson Tide scored two fourth-quarter touchdowns to pull away as the Tigers finished 0-of-4 on fourth downs -- the most attempts without a conversion in Lane Kiffin's FBS head coaching career. Alabama has won four straight games against LSU, all of them by double digits.

Playing in Louisiana, the Crimson Tide channeled the region. Instead of writing "going" in its postgame caption, Alabama went with: "Geauxin' home with the DUB!" a play on LSU's rally cry of "Geaux Tigers."

No. 7 Texas 34, No. 18 Missouri 20

Texas stormed back to defeat Missouri on the road. The Longhorns trailed 20-13 with 4:52 left in the third quarter but shut out Missouri the rest of the way, while outgaining the Tigers 112-30 in the final frame.

The Longhorns earned their sixth straight win against an AP Top 25 team, their longest streak since a seven-game stretch that spanned the 2004 and 2005 seasons, according to ESPN Research. Quarterback Arch Manning threw for 297 yards and three touchdowns, and running back Raleek Brown had 85 rushing yards and a score -- plus a 24-yard touchdown grab.

Texas has won 17 of its past 19 meetings against Missouri and poked fun at the dominance by captioning their postgame graphic: "Kings of the Zou," as in Missouri's program, stadium and student section.

No. 21 South Carolina 17, Texas A&M 9

South Carolina rallied late against Texas A&M for the Gamecocks' fourth straight win.

Through three quarters, it seemed as if the Aggies would pull off the upset, leading 9-7 with the Gamecocks' offense struggling. But South Carolina turned it around with 10 points in the final frame -- including a 41-yard touchdown run by LaNorris Sellers.

The Gamecocks referenced earlier posts from the Aggies to poke fun cleverly after the win.

First, they put a spin on Texas A&M's second post of the day, one that included an hourglass. South Carolina instead wrote "Gamecocks Win" on top of the hourglass. Earlier in the week, the Aggies posted their road uniforms while seated in a locker room with "#BTHOsouthcarolina" in the caption. This time, the Gamecocks wrote "SC BT:HO Y:OU" on a clock before pointing to a whiteboard in a locker room that read: "Cocks Win."

No. 22 Arizona 29, TCU 28

Arizona completed an improbable comeback against TCU on Friday night in a thriller.

The Horned Frogs led by eight with 6:35 left in the game, and the Wildcats responded with an 11-play, 75-yard touchdown drive. But Arizona's 2-point conversion failed, putting TCU in the driver's seat with 1:44 remaining.

TCU didn't capitalize on the miss, fumbling the kickoff with Arizona recovering. Four plays later, the Wildcats kicked a go-ahead field goal before intercepting a Horned Frogs pass to win. It was Arizona's largest fourth-quarter comeback since 2014.

After the win, the Wildcats shared an image of TCU's mascot, SuperFrog, lost in the desert dust.

Duke 41, NC State 3

In-state rivalries always bring the best on-field magic. But Duke took it another level after its dominant road win against NC State.

The Blue Devils didn't allow a point after the first quarter as the Wolfpack finished with just 217 yards. The 38-point margin of victory was also Duke's third-largest conference win over the past 40 years.

The Blue Devils went deep in the meme archives to rub it in. They referenced a TikTok video from 2025, when an older man in a truck kicks someone out of their fishing spot. The person taking the video explains that he thought it was state property, to which the man yelps: "State?! This?!" and clarifies that it's private property. Duke included that clip with a Duke logo on the truck, writing: "State property?"

Auburn 26, Arkansas 23

Auburn is back in the win column, but it didn't come without drama against Arkansas.

The Razorbacks evened the score with 1:54 left in the fourth, setting up a key drive for the Tigers. They answered with a 10-play drive that was capped by a 43-yard field goal with 33 seconds remaining. Auburn then stopped Arkansas' attempt to tie the score or win.

Similar to the Wildcats, the Tigers targeted their opponents' namesake. With a razorback being considered a pig, Auburn spelled out a "W" with its breakfast bacon.
