Cunha, who had been United's most dangerous attacking outlet throughout the afternoon, saw an effort from outside the area take a wicked deflection off Affengruber, wrong-footing Leno and finding its way into the net. In truth, a draw felt a fair outcome. There was almost nothing to separate the sides on the balance of play or the underlying numbers, with Fulham posting 1.57 xG to United's 1.59. However, Arbeloa remains without a victory as Fulham manager after five matches and will hope to change that when the Cottagers travel to Ipswich following the international break.
