England U15s win at World Cup due to uncontested penalty, Bolivia confront ref

Another England match at the Under-15 World Cup ended in controversial circumstances on Friday as the team secured a win over Bolivia with an uncontested penalty.

The South American team's goalkeeper made no effort to save the spot-kick at the end of the match which made the final score 3-2 to England at the tournament in Azerbaijan.

Bolivia players then appeared to confront the referee, as well as England players, before both sides finally left the pitch.

The Football Association and FIFA have been contacted for further information regarding Friday's incident.

The latest incident followed the abandonment of a match against the Republic of Ireland on Monday when England players walked off after it was alleged a racist remark was made.

A FIFA spokesperson said: "FIFA is aware of an incident at the FIFA Under-15 World Cup and Festival match between England and the Republic of Ireland.

"The match was abandoned by the referee following England's refusal to continue.

"The official reports are being gathered, and the matter will be referred to the independent disciplinary committee who will decide in due course."

The FA was aware of the incident and offered support to the player involved.

Rocco Derefaka opened the scoring for England. Bolivia turned the game around with two goals inside three minutes of the first half, before Kobi Akerele equalised.

Emmanuel Famokun scored the controversial winning penalty.
