Manchester City conceded a late equaliser to Paris Saint-Germain as a first win in the Women's Champions League this season slipped away two minutes from time.

City dominated for large stretches but struggled in front of goal, with Khadija Shaw eventually opening the scoring when she buried a penalty in the 85th minute.

But PSG had other plans, with substitute Tara Elimbi producing a quick-fire equaliser through a fine solo effort to condemn City to a third consecutive draw in the competition.

City have made an excellent start to their Women's Super League (WSL) title defence -- registering six wins and one draw -- but have struggled to impose themselves in Europe.

Andree Jeglertz's side rallied to rescue a point against Bayern Munich in their opening fixture, with Beth Mead and Carlotta Wamser both finding the net to earn a point away from home.

City then played out a 1-1 draw against Real Madrid at home as Khadija Shaw cancelled out Linda Caicedo's opener.

The English champions' wait for a first win in Europe will go on with a trip to face Inter Milan coming up next.

PSG also drew 1-1 with Real Madrid before turning on the style against OH Leuven to earn a commanding 5-0 victory at home last time and will feel happy to have earned a hard-fought draw in Manchester.
