Real Madrid coach Pau Quesada said his team "aren't valued enough" after their 2-2 Champions League draw at Bayern Munich on Wednesday, blaming the standard set by rivals Barcelona.
Madrid led by two goals against Bayern, with Athenea del Castillo and Lineth Beerensteyn scoring early on, before the German side hit back through Edna Imade and Momoko Tanikawa.

The result leaves Madrid 10th in the UWCL table with three points, after drawing all three of their matches so far against Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester City and now Bayern.
However, speaking to Disney+ after Wednesday's game, coach Quesada defended his team's record, having been eliminated in the UWCL quarterfinals -- by the eventual champions -- in the last two seasons.
"The reality is that if we hadn't faced Barça, we'd have won more than one trophy [already]," Quesada said. "If we played in England, we'd have won the English league, if we played in Germany, we could have won the German league.
"It's a reality which we don't have to see as a problem. We have to see that we need to be more demanding. I think the same thing happens to PSG in their league.
"Sometimes we aren't valued enough, because we have that brake which Barça impose on us, in terms of winning trophies."
Since Madrid's women's team formed in 2020, they have not won a major trophy.
They finished second in Liga F five times -- and third once -- as well as being runners-up in the 2023 Copa de la Reina.
Meanwhile, Barcelona have won the Champions League four times, including last season, and have won Liga F seven times in a row.
In 26 Clásico meetings, Barcelona have won 25, with Madrid triumphing just once, in March 2025.
"I think [Barça] the worst enemy of any team they face, because they're a team with an established structure, they've been playing together for a long time," Quesada told Disney on Wednesday. "But we can beat them. We'll beat them this season.
"With what we saw from us against City, and what we've done today [against Bayern], we have to reproduce that every three days. We have to show what we want. We're here to win, and a draw isn't enough."
