Maresca: Man City players' focus is on Liverpool, not charges (0:34)

Liverpool midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai has been ruled out of Sunday's Premier League clash with Manchester City due to injury.

The Reds welcome Enzo Maresca's side to Anfield in their first game since an independent commission found City guilty of breaching the Premier League's financial rules. City vehemently deny any wrongdoing and have appealed the verdict.

Liverpool were already without Alexander Isak and Cody Gakpo for Sunday's game, while long-term absentees Hugo Ekitike, Conor Bradley and Giovanni Leoni remain unavailable.

Liverpool head coach Andoni Iraola told Sky Sports pre-match: "Another one coming from the international games. He came with an overload, he felt a tight hamstring.

"He's tried somehow, kind of pushing through training, but he was not feeling 100% and we will have to wait for Dom, yes."
