Chelsea began their Women's Champions League campaign with a 1-0 win over Austria Wien.
Wieke Kaptein scored the only goal of the game with a thunderous strike from the edge of the box in the 11th minute.
Austria Wien didn't capitulate despite the setback and continued to press hard for an equaliser.
Modesta Uka hit the post late on with a superb effort as the visitors upped their attacking intensity. It was a spirited performance from the Austrian side but they left London with no points.
