Fabian Hürzeler called for humility and continued focus on the basics as Brighton host Arsenal fresh from their remarkable Carabao Cup turnaround at Manchester United.
The Seagulls became the first team since 1976 to overturn a two-goal deficit and win at Old Trafford as substitute Maxim De Cuyper completed a thrilling, and thoroughly deserved, 3-2 comeback win.
Brighton boss Hürzeler said belief was key to Wednesday's turnaround but also that he is not getting ahead of himself as the Premier League champions head to the Amex on Saturday.
"I think that we have to stay very, very humble now and get an understanding why we are in the place where we are," the Albion manager said.
"It's about doing the basic things right and doing the small margins right, and therefore it's so important that we keep this in our mind.
"That we stay humble, that we don't take these things for granted, that we step into the game and understand 'OK, it's hard work again.'

"It's hard, hard work, it's doing the basic things right, and then we can grow into the game.
"And then we also know -- and then we come back to the belief [aspect] -- that we are a good football team."
