Manchester City have agreed a deal with Al Qadsiah for midfielder Tijjani Reijnders, sources have told ESPN.
The Netherlands international is set to move to the Saudi side -- managed by former Liverpool, Leicester and Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers -- for a fee of £52 million ($70.1 million).
Sources have told ESPN that personal terms are close to being agreed and the transfer will be finalised once the 28-year-old undergoes a medical.
Reijnders trained separately from the City squad on Thursday ahead of his proposed move. He leaves the Etihad Stadium after just one season following his £46.5 million move from AC Milan last summer. He scored seven goals in 47 appearances for City last season.
Meanwhile, sources close to City denied reports on Thursday that they have submitted a formal bid for Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernández.
Chelsea have set a deadline of 5 p.m. UK time on Friday for offers of £120 million to be submitted for the Argentinian or he will stay at Stamford Bridge this season.
After agreeing to Reijnders' departure, City could lose another midfielder before the deadline with Barcelona keen on signing Spain World Cup winner Rodri.
The 30-year-old has one year left on his contract at City and there is growing belief at the Etihad Stadium that he is likely to move to Camp Nou.
