- Manchester United are weighing up a summer move for RB Leipzig left back David Raum, TEAMtalk reports. The Germany international is viewed as a potential alternative to Newcastle United's Lewis Hall, who looks set to remain at St James' Park. Leipzig captain Raum, 28, has a £34 million release clause in his contract, although United believe a deal could be negotiated down to £30 million, should the player be keen on making the switch to Old Trafford.
- Paris Saint-Germain are in advanced negotiations with Barcelona over the signing of Ferran Torres, Florian Plettenberg reports. However, there is still no final agreement in place over a transfer fee for Spain's World Cup final match-winner. Sources told ESPN at the weekend that Torres has told Barcelona he wants to join PSG this summer after agreeing personal terms with the European champions. The 26-year-old has just one year to run on his contract with Barça, and the source added that the Spanish champions will not stand in his way if a fee can be agreed with PSG. Torres is now is reportedly ready to undergo a medical at PSG if and when a deal is finalised between the two clubs.
- Manchester City are closing in on a deal to sign Lille midfielder Ayyoub Bouaddi for around £85 million, according to The Guardian. The 18-year-old has reportedly agreed personal terms with City, with negotiations between the clubs now at an advanced stage. City manager Enzo Maresca wants Bouaddi to join the first-team squad immediately rather than return to Lille on loan. The move comes as City prepare for the possible departure of Rodri, with Barcelona and Real Madrid both pursuing the Spain captain. However, City's pursuit of Bouaddi is thought to be independent of the World Cup winner's potential exit.
- Atlético Madrid are closing in on a deal to sign Tottenham Hotspur defender Cristian Romero, according to Matteo Moretto. Only minor details remain between the two clubs, with Atlético making the Argentina international an absolute priority this summer. The Spanish club are pushing to complete the deal as soon as possible, with the transfer now considered imminent.
- AS Roma have held initial talks with the representatives of Arsenal winger Gabriel Martinelli, the Daily Mirror reports. With the Brazil international entering the final year of his contract with Arsenal, a transfer remains a distinct possibility this month. Turkish giants Galatasaray are also monitoring Martinelli, who is viewed as an attractive alternative to long-term target Rafael Leão. One potential stumbling block for Roma may well be the player's wage demands, which they'd struggle to meet.
