Marcus Rashford is set to rejoin Manchester United's squad at their preseason camp in Ireland to begin his preparations for the new season, sources have told ESPN.
Rashford has been on holiday since England's victory over France in the World Cup third-place playoff on July 19.
Barcelona, where the forward spent last season on loan, have chosen not to trigger their €30m ($34m) option to make his move permanent.
It means Rashford, who is under contract at Old Trafford until 2028, is set to be part of United's squad for the first time in more than 18 months.
The 28-year-old will join up with head coach Michael Carrick and his teammates in Dublin this week. United are travelling to Dublin after their 1-1 draw with Champions League holders Paris Saint-Germain in Gothenburg on Saturday.
Rashford has not played a competitive game for United since a Europa League tie with Viktoria Plzen in December 2024. After being frozen out by former head coach Ruben Amorim, he joined Aston Villa on loan in January 2025.

He returned to United last summer but was made to train alone before agreeing a loan move to Barcelona. He scored 14 goals in 49 games in Spain last season.
United are next in action against Leeds United at Croke Park on Wednesday.
Carrick's team then face AC Milan -- where Amorim is now manager -- in Poland on Aug. 15.
