Conor Gallagher scored Tottenham's equaliser in a 1-1 draw against Getafe in preseason on Saturday.
A shortened match of 35 minutes per half was played behind closed doors at Tottenham's training ground. Alberto Risco gave Getafe a 55th-minute lead but Gallagher scored five minutes later to ensure the Premier League side maintained their unbeaten preseason run, having previously won four in a row.
"It was tough," Andy Robertson told SPURSPLAY. "It's been a really tough week preseason-wise. I think that's what some people don't see behind the scenes. We've been working hard this week, probably not a normal week preparing for a Saturday game. It was a good test and more minutes in the legs for all of us. We'll take the positives.
"Jet lag has been something I've never had like that before, that's for sure. We were 11 hours ahead in New Zealand and nine hours ahead in Australia, so we needed a couple of days to adapt.
"We've also been doing long days. In the meeting room, the manager is trying to drill home what he wants us to do and how he wants us to play. We've been long hours on the pitch. That's what you need to do in preseason.
"When it comes to the game, you're probably a little bit leggy and a little bit mentally tired as well, but we had to get through it and I think we did. I don't think it was the prettiest and probably not the greatest of games, but it will stand us in good stead."
Roberto De Zerbi named new boys Sandro Tonali, Jan Paul van Hecke and Robertson while Archie Gray was named captain.
Ben Davies' header from Robertson's free-kick at the end of the first half was as close as Tottenham came to opening the scoring.

Mikey Moore couldn't stretch far enough to score after half-time before Richarlison's header from a set-piece nearly beat the Getafe goalkeeper David Soria.
But it was the Spanish side, who finished seventh in LaLiga last season, who struck first when Risco played a one-two then beat Antonín Kinsky.
In the 60th minute, the ball was played into Richarlison before Gallagher swept home an equaliser.
Another Richarlison header was saved by Soria in the final moments ensuring Getafe went home with a draw from this 70-minute encounter.
