Atletico Mineiro win to put pressure on league leaders
CURITIBA, Brazil, Dec 12 (Reuters) - Atletico Mineiro bounced back after missing a penalty to beat Athletico Paranaense 1-0 on Saturday and move to within four points of Brazilian league leaders Sao Paulo.Keno’s spot kick was saved by Santos after half an hour but Eduardo Vargas made amends for the visitors two minutes before half time when his angled drive found the roof of the net.The result means second-placed Atletico move on to 46 points, four behind Sao Paulo, who are away at arch rivals Corinthians on Sunday.
