Commentary
Arsenal maintain their unbeaten start to this season's Champions League, taking their tally to 10 points from four games after holding on for a narrow 2-1 win over Slavia Prague. Despite their dominant first half, the Gunners were hanging on at the end, as the hosts restored some sense of pride in their performance after the break. Slavia actually registered a 2.22 xG to their opponents' 1.49. You'd never have thought that, though, when Arsenal quickly hit their stride at the Fortuna Arena. They took the lead in the ninth minute when Viktor Gyokeres played in Noni Madueke, who made no mistake from close range. Gyokeres made it 2-0 on 38 minutes, neatly finishing following a one-two with Mikel Merino. However, the hosts were much-improved in the second half. After giving their opponents a couple of scares, they finally halved their deficit in the 90th minute, when Wiktor Nowak turned in David Jurasek's cross. However, it came too late for Slavia, who equal the longest winless streak in European Cup/Champions League history, having now failed to prevail victorious in any of their last 23 matches in the competition. As for Arsenal, they're now unbeaten in their last 19 Champions League games (excluding penalty shootouts), though they did concede a goal in Czechia for the first time. Mikel Arteta will demand a much more complete performance when his side return to Premier League action against Hull City at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday. The following day, reigning Czech First League champions Slavia resume their domestic title defence at home to Artis. Thanks for joining us today. Until next time, goodbye!
FULL-TIME: SLAVIA PRAGUE 1-2 ARSENAL
Poor effort! The hosts do get that final chance, as Konecny can shoot from inside the box. It's a tame strike, though, and Raya gratefully gathers. That should be the job just about done for Arsenal.
Slavia have a free-kick deep inside their own half. This will surely be their final opportunity to launch the ball into Arsenal territory.
Forward come the hosts once more. They smell blood after their equaliser. Sadilek swings another ball into the box from the left. Although, Chaloupek can't quite guide his looping header the right side of the far post.

Arsenal make a change, seemingly with half an eye on running the clock down. Madueke goes off to be replaced by Dowman.
