Wallabies must change tact against All Blacks (1:24)

The return of Carter Gordon and several welcome international reinforcements headline the Wallabies' squad for the final four Tests of the year.

Coach Les Kiss named his group that heads to Europe for Tests next month against England, Scotland, Wales and another yet-to-be-determined side in the maiden Nations Championship finals weekend.

The Wallabies had gone six Tests undefeated, including Kiss's first five in charge, before back-to-back Bledisloe Cup hidings opened old wounds.

Taniela Tupou and Tom Hooper, who play club rugby in France and England respectively, performed crucial bench roles in the Wallabies' defeat of back-to-back World Cup champions South Africa.

But Australia were without the pair's services against New Zealand, given the All Blacks Tests fell outside of World Rugby's global player release period.

It exposed the Wallabies' bench depth and, after a one-sided second half in Auckland, forced Kiss to shift prop Angus Bell to the reserves for the Sydney rematch.

That contest was over inside 30 minutes, before Bell got on the field.

Kiss will have access to his international arsenal though for the four-Test tour that begins in London on November 9.

Meanwhile, fly-half Carter Gordon, on the comeback from a broken leg suffered in Argentina, was also included after training with the squad in Sydney last week.

In Gordon's absence Ben Donaldson wore the No.10, until his injury allowed Declan Meredith a shot in Sydney, with Harry McLaughlin-Phillips debuting off the bench.

Kiss said ahead of the Sydney Test that he had been in conversation with veteran playmaker Kurtley Beale who, like fellow experienced halves James O'Connor and Bernard Foley, was a known quantity who remained in the frame ahead of the World Cup.

He has also named uncapped No.9 Teddy Wilson in the squad, providing cover for Tate McDermott who has been named in the group but is also awaiting the birth of his first child.

Impressive displays from Ryan Lonergan have seen him assume custody of the Wallabies' No.9 jersey.

But NSW Waratahs half Wilson - unrelated to current captain Harry but son of former Wallabies World Cup winner David - will push for a bench role that remains up for grabs ahead of next year's World Cup.

"There's a real buzz among the squad as we prepare for what will be four incredibly demanding matches against high-quality opposition as part of the November Nations Championship Tests," Kiss said in a statement.

"As coaches, we've made some tough selection calls to keep building depth across the board and we know a tour like this will challenge the whole squad on many levels.

"This Tour gives us another valuable opportunity to test new combinations, strengthen our existing connections and push our game forward in all areas."

Elsewhere the squad remains relatively unchanged with potential for additional squad members to be called upon from the Australia A touring side in the USA.

The Wallabies will kick off their tour at Twickenham against England on November 8, before facing Scotland at Murrayfield a week later and Wales at Principality Stadium on November 21. The tour will conclude with the inaugural Nations Champions Finals weekend in London.
