England coach John Mitchell has made four changes to his side for Friday's Test against Canada with fullback Ellie Kildunne the headline omission from the starting XV as they look to bounce back from a rare defeat.
Canada handed England their first loss in 41 matches with a 24-21 victory in Toronto thanks to a stunning 77th-minute try from Shoshanah Seumanutafa.
It means England are in unfamiliar territory going into this week's clash as they must attempt to come back from defeat for the first time in four years.
Kildunne will start on the bench with Emma Sing named at fullback.
Mia Venner replaces Claudia Moloney-MacDonald, coming on to the right wing, with Jess Breach the only one of the back three to keep their place.
The front row remains unchanged with Hannah Botterman and Sara Bern starting either side of hooker Amy Cokayne.
Morwenna Talling and Lilli Ives Campion form the second-row pairing. Abi Burton and Maddie Feaunati will start in the back row with Sadia Kabeya replacing Alex Matthews.
"Friday is our first chance to respond," Mitchell said in a press release.
"Last Friday, we lost sight of what we could control when it mattered most; that's on us to fix. This week is about getting back to who we are: hungry, accountable to each other and demanding more of ourselves than anyone outside this group ever could.
"We've earned a strong period, but nothing about it is owed to us going forward. Friday is an opportunity to apply sustained pressure, learn from what we missed and come out the other side better than we went in."
Canada ended England's impressive winning run with a 26-26 draw at Sandy Park in Exeter last month before going one better on home soil last week.
Prior to that, England had not lost a match since the 2022 Women's Rugby World Cup final when they went down 34-31 to New Zealand in Auckland.
