HOUSTON -- Texans running back David Montgomery suffered a groin injury during Houston's 26-3 victory over the Titans on Sunday.
Montgomery suffered his injury early in the second quarter, with his last carry coming on a second-and-5 to open the period. Before leaving the game, Montgomery had 11 yards on five carries.
He has struggled to find much success this season. Montgomery had three touchdowns against the Buffalo Bills in Week 1 but hasn't scored since and has averaged a career-low 2.7 yards per carry.
