News: 4 days agoDelp was not targeted during Monday's 45-24 loss versus the Falcons.
Spin: Delp did record a solo tackle in punt coverage after New Orleans went three-and-out on its first offensive series, but that was his only mark on the stat sheet in Week 4. On a positive note, he was second on the team in snaps at tight end (23) behind veteran Juwan Johnson (53) with Noah Fant (abdomen) sidelined. His involvement in Week 5 versus the Ravens will likely depend on the availability of Fant.
ESPN Fantasy Projection: Delp was selected by the Saints in the third round of April's draft. Delp was busy during his final three seasons at Georgia (1,733 snaps in 42 games), but that didn't lead to much work in the passing game (no more than 24 catches, 284 yards or a 7% target share in a single season). Good speed and hands suggest there's some hope for him as a developmental piece, which is what he'll be in 2026 while playing a situational role behind Juwan Johnson and Noah Fant.
