News: 4 days agoHenderson caught one of two targets for seven yards in Sunday's 19-16 preseason loss to the Titans. He also returned two kickoffs for 47 yards and notched two solo tackles on special teams.
Spin: Henderson was drafted in the sixth round primarily with special teams in mind, and the rookie out of Kansas showcased his versatile skill set in that phase of the game during Week 2 of the preseason. His special-teams ability has Henderson in good position to make the 53-man roster, but he isn't expected to contribute much on offense early on.
ESPN Fantasy Projection: Henderson was selected by the Seahawks in the sixth round of April's draft. Henderson is a thin receiver with small hands who has experience playing inside and out (career 38% slot rate). A converted running back, Henderson was limited to five catches in three seasons at Alabama prior to making a leap to a 45-766-5 receiving line (22% target share) in his lone season at Kansas. At least in the short term, he'll be limited to special teams work.
