News: 3 hours agoRobinson handled seven carries for 16 yards and did not catch his only target during Sunday's 30-23 overtime loss versus the Ravens. He also returned two kickoffs for 61 return yards.
Spin: Robinson's seven carries in Week 5 were the fewest he's been given in any game so far this season, and the longest of those rushes only went for four yards. Atlanta's offense still runs through Bijan Robinson, but his backup could still be a desperate, touchdown-dependent flex play in deeper formats in a Week 6 matchup versus the Bears.
ESPN Fantasy Projection: After a one-year stint as Christian McCaffrey's backup in San Francisco, Robinson signed with Atlanta where he'll now operate as a change-of-pace back behind Bijan Robinson. The 2022 third-round pick soaked up 200-plus touches in each of his first three NFL seasons (all with Washington) prior to dipping to 100 touches in 2025. Robinson is a big back who can handle early-down and short-yardage work, but he's not much of a factor as a receiver (92 career targets). He's yet to post a top-20 fantasy campaign and he won't come close to that in 2026 unless Bijan Robinson suffers a major injury. The 27-year-old back is no more than a solid insurance stash.
