The NBA announced on Tuesday that tickets are sold out for the 2027 NBA Paris and Manchester games set for January, featuring the San Antonio Spurs and the New Orleans Pelicans.
According to the league, approximately one million fans registered interest in tickets, marking the highest level of demand recorded for NBA Games in Europe.
The Spurs and Pelicans will play regular season games at Accor Arena in Paris, France on Jan. 14, then face off again three days later at the Co-op Live in Manchester, England as part of the NBA's multiyear agreement to play regular-season outings in Europe.
Basketball ranks as the fastest-growing sport in Europe, according to the NBA, just behind soccer with more than 270 million fans across the continent. In fact, a record-71 Europeans made opening-night rosters last season in the NBA, and represent approximately 15% of the league, not to mention five of the last eight players to win MVP.
