News: 2 days agoMurray (undisclosed) is available for Saturday's preseason game against the Warriors, James Ham of ESPN 1320 Sacramento reports.
Spin: Murray was sidelined for each of the Kings' first two preseason games, but the fifth-year pro has been given the green light to play in Saturday's contest. He was limited to only 23 regular-season games during the 2025-26 campaign, but he entered training camp fully recovered from a left ankle injury that required surgery in mid-May.
ESPN Fantasy Projection: Murray enters the season as Sacramento’s likely starting power forward after an injury-plagued fourth season. He averaged 14.0 PPG, 5.7 RPG and 1.6 BPG last season, but shot a career-low 27.7% from three. His defensive production gives him fantasy value even when the shot isn’t falling, while a return to his earlier shooting form would raise his ceiling considerably. Murray still has competition for minutes in Sacramento’s frontcourt, but his two-way role should keep him involved. He’s worth a late-round flier in fantasy drafts.
