Los Angeles Dodgers center fielder Andy Pages got hit on his left hand by a pitch in the third inning against the Pittsburgh Pirates and left the game Friday night.
Pages, who was struck by a pitch from Pirates right-hander Bubba Chandler and took first base, sustained a left hand contusion and was replaced by Enrique Hernández to start the fifth inning.
Dodgers manager Dave Roberts and a trainer came out to check on Pages. He advanced to third before the inning ended.
Pages came in hitting .272 with 25 home runs and 80 RBIs. He earned his first All-Star selection this season.
