BOSTON (Ticker) -- For a second straight game, the Texas

Rangers and Boston Red Sox will not even throw a pitch.

Sunday afternoon's scheduled game between the Rangers and Red

Sox was postponed due to rain.

The contest will be rescheduled on a date to be determined later

in the season.

Saturday's game, which also was rained out, will be made up as

part of a day-night doubleheader on a date to be announced

during the Rangers' next trip to Boston from June 9-11.

Rain affected Friday's series opener. The Rangers were the

beneficiary, posting a 6-0 win in a game that was called in the

bottom of the sixth inning.
