UNC Greensboro rolls to 86-66 win over North Carolina A&T

GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Francis Alonso scored 21 points, Diante Baldwin added 20 and UNC Greensboro beat North Carolina A&T 86-66 on Tuesday night.

Alonso shot 8 of 12 from the floor, made five 3-pointers and had seven assists. Baldwin finished 7-of-13 shooting with three 3-point baskets and added five assists. R.J. White added 19 points for the Spartans (5-2), who have won four straight.

Demetrius Troy had 11 points and five assists. James Dickey blocked four of the Spartans' nine blocked shots.

Davaris McGowens scored 19 points and had 10 rebounds to lead North Carolina A&T (1-5). Raymon Pratt added 15 points.

The Spartans jumped out on a 24-4 run to start the game and led 50-18 at halftime. The Aggies shot just 26 percent in the first half and finished 25 of 61 for 41 percent shooting. The Aggies made just 2 of 14 3-pointers and 14 of 25 from the free-throw line.
