Green, Radford put away Campbell 72-55
BUIES CREEK, N.C. -- Javonte Green scored 21 points and grabbed eight rebounds and Radford put away Campbell for a 72-55 victory on Thursday night.
Brandon Holcomb added 14 points with three blocks and Ya Ya Anderson chipped in nine points for the Highlanders (11-7, 2/3 Big South), who shot 55.8 percent from the field. Green was 7 of 12 from the floor and dished out four assists.
Campbell (7-11, 1-4) was held to 22-of-57 shooting (38.6 percent) and allowed 20 points off 13 turnovers. D.J. Mason led the Camels with 18 points and seven boards, while Curtis Phillips contributed 12 points.
Green hit two layups and a jumper as Radford closed the first half on a 21-5 run, moving out to a 32-19 halftime lead. Campbell pulled within four in the second half, but the Highlanders put together a 24-5 surge to lead by 23 with 4:02 remaining.
