VALPARAISO, Ind. -- David Chadwick scored 14 points and Alec Peters shot a perfect 5-of-5 from the field and added 13 points as Valparaiso cruised to 94-58 win over NAIA opponent Cincinnati Christian.
The Crusaders (5-4) went on a 20-4 run in the first half to extend their lead to 42-18 and led by double digits the remainder of the game.
Valparaiso shot 64.6 percent from the field, was 8-of-16 on 3-pointers and held a 46-22 rebounding advantage. Vashil Fernandez led the Crusaders with 12 rebounds and added 11 points.
Alec Peters had 13 points, Lexus Williams had 11, Clay Yeo had 11 and Moussa Gueye had 10 as six players scored in double figures for Valparaiso.
Michael Hill had 19 points and eight rebounds for Cincinnati Christian, which shot just 32.8 percent from the floor.
Valparaiso was coming off a triple-overtime 117-108 loss to Mercer last night.
