Richmond bests Belmont in 69-61 upset.

RICHMOND, Va. -- Terry Allen scored 16 points Monday night, and Richmond won its second game of the season, a 69-61 victory over Belmont in the Hall of Fame tip-off tournament.
Cedrick Lindsay had a three-point play with 12:53 left in the game to cap a nine point run, putting Richmond (2-0) ahead 47-37. The Spiders extended the lead to 52-39 on Deion Taylor's layup at the 10:57 mark before Belmont made a run of their own.
Reece Chamberlain hit a layup for the Bruins (1-1) with 27 seconds to close the lead to 64-61, but the Spiders finished strong, hitting 5 of 6 of their free-throws.
Trey Davis had a career-high 11 rebounds for the Spiders.
Blake Jenkins was 5 of 8 from the field and finished with 13 points for the Bruins.
