BOWLING GREEN, Ky. -- George Fant scored a career-high 27 points and tied a career-high with 14 rebounds as Western Kentucky outlasted Arkansas State 82-77 in double-overtime Saturday night.
Chris Harrison-Docks scored four of his 13 points during a 7-0 WKU (11-7, 3-2 Sun Belt Conference) run in the second overtime that pushed the Hilltoppers' lead to 80-72 with 24 seconds left.
Arkansas State (10-7, 3-3), which made 26-of-54 (48 percent) field goals in regulation, made just 2-of-12 field goals in the extra frames.
Harrison-Docks missed a 3-pointer with 6 seconds left in the first overtime and Arkansas State's Raheem Dickerson missed a trey with 4 seconds to play in regulation.
T.J. Price finished with 19 points and eight rebounds for WKU, which out-rebounded the Red Wolves 51-37.
Kendrick Washington had 20 points and nine rebounds in the loss. Brandon Reed added 17 and Kirk Van Slyke 14.
