Miami (Ohio) comes-from-behind, defeats IPFW 94-87
OXFORD, Ohio -- Will Felder scored 26 points, Will Sullivan added 23 and Miami (Ohio) comes back from a 16-point halftime deficit to win its first game of the season, 94-87 over Indiana-Purdue Fort Wayne Tuesday night.
Felder made a pair of free throws to pull Miami within seven with 14:04 remaining. Felder and Sullivan would then go score Miami's next 28 points, capped by Felder's jumper, giving the RedHawks their first lead, 81-80.
Joe Edward's jumper gave IPFW (6-4) its final lead, 87-85, with 1:21 remaining. Geovonie McKnight answered with a 3-pointer, giving the lead back to the RedHawks, 88-87. Joshua Oswald, McKnight, and Felder combined for 6-of-6 shooting from the line to cap the scoring for Miami.
IPFW missed a layup and two 3-pointers in the final minute. Michael Kibiloski scored 17 points to lead five Mastodons in double figures.
