Belmont handles Lipscomb 94-64
NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Evan Bradds scored a career-high 19 points to lead five Belmont layers in double figures as the Bruins extended their NCAA-best home-court win streak to 22 games with a 94-64 victory over Lipscomb on Wednesday night.
The Bruins (4-1) were coming off an 83-80 upset of then -No. 12 North Carolina and made quick work of the Bisons (2-3), shooting 58 percent from the field in taking a 47-26 lead. They shot 56.5 percent for the game.
J.J. Mann scored 17 points for the Bruins, Craig Bradshaw a career-high 16, Drew Windler 13 and Nick Smith 10. Windler has scored in double figures in all five games.
J.C. Hampton scored 16 points and Malcolm Smith 14 for Lipscomb.
The same two teams also met in their season opener on Nov. 8 with Belmont winning by four points. It was the schools' 134th meeting.
