MOSCOW, Idaho -- Sim Bhullar and K.C. Ross-Miller each scored 16 points and New Mexico State held off a second-half comeback by Idaho for a 71-70 victory on Saturday night.
New Mexico State (10-8, 4-2 Western Athletic) also got 14 points from Bandja Sy.
Idaho (6-9, 2-3) was down by 15 at halftime, but fell short at the end.
Kyle Barone scored 18 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to lead Idaho. Connor Hill scored 17 points and Robert Harris and Stephen Madison each scored 11.
New Mexico State had a 15-2 scoring advantage off turnovers and an 8-6 scoring edge off the bench.
