HAMMOND, La. -- Corey Wilford scored 18 points and Southeast Missouri State held on for a 61-58 victory over Southeastern Louisiana Saturday.

Southeast Missouri led 55-41 in the second half but the Lions (1-5) clawed back behind Brandon Fortenberry's 12 points and 10 from Jeffery Ricard, who went 8 for 8 at the foul line.
Jeremy Campbell's tip-in made it 60-58 with 5 seconds left. Wilford hit the first of two free throws at 3 seconds left before missing the second. Fortenberry's long trey missed at the buzzer.
The loss snapped a 31-game home nonconference winning streak for the Lions. Their last home loss to a nonconference opponent was an 81-73 loss to Jackson State on Nov. 28, 2006.
