Class of 2026 Week 9 Inductee: Drew Bennett's 53-point Game

Dec. 13, 2004 (Week 14)
53.3 fantasy points
12 receptions, 233 receiving yards, 3 receiving TDs

One of the most memorable late-season hot streaks during the ESPN fantasy era, Bennett's run -- and to a lesser extent his quarterback, Billy Volek's -- decided many a league title in 2004. An undrafted free agent playing his first season as a full-time starter, Bennett began his December by posting the three best single-game fantasy point totals of his eight-year career, accentuated by this 53.3-point masterpiece in Week 14. Volek, meanwhile, scored 91.88 fantasy points during that same Week 13-15 span. Despite their valiant efforts, the Titans lost all three games by a combined score of 140-97, but their fantasy managers likely fared better in their matchups!

Bennett will be inducted Sunday during "Fantasy Focus Countdown" (10 a.m. ET on ESP2). Tune in each week through Week 16 as we reveal all 18 members of the inaugural class of the ESPN Fantasy Football Hall of Fame.
