Kobe Bryant will take the court for the Los Angeles Lakers one last time Wednesday night and blow out the candles on his legendary 20-year NBA career. So naturally the city of Los Angeles is pulling out all the stops to honor him, even public transportation stops.

Pico Metro stop, about two blocks away from Staples Center, has been temporarily renamed Kobe Station. The signs were installed around 6 a.m. and will be taken down after 24 hours. Just long enough for fans to take a ride into Kobe Station for the Lakers showdown with the Utah Jazz.
