Scorer: K Vairavan | Commentator: Alan Gardner

7.29pm: Time for the presentations, starting with Player of the Match, Maia Bouchier: "Very happy to get that big score. Something we've talked about in the dressing room, trying to be confident going into the first 10. We took the pressure off. Been one thing I've been working on, talking about the process and how to get big scores. Working with Lottie and talking about what I can do, being proactive at the start of my innings. Scoring a couple of tons at the start of the summer really helped me. [Domestic form] So important, especially come the end of the summer. We get back into that mindset, remembering that we have time [in 50 overs]. New group, really exciting, and lots of different conversations. [Prendergast] She bowled well, put us under pressure at the start. Talked about being positive and proactive. We did that well throughout the game. Kempy at the end, the way she came in and played. That was really important."

Ireland captain Gaby Lewis: "At midway, we had confidence. But the way they attacked that powerplay set us back. Definitely some positives with the batting and the way Rebecca [Stokell] finished was outstanding. [Defeat to West Indies] To bounce back and work on that, the way Rebecca played at the back end, she took it on and showed bravery. [Lessons] The way they played to put our bowlers off their lines, using the crease, that's what happens when you're under the pump. Executing skills under pressure. [Derby next] That's the beauty of the [ICC Women's Championship], series are important but a win here or there goes towards qualification."

England captain Charlie Dean: "Amazing to chase our highest total down, in the way we did it, credit to the girls. We could have been tighter with the ball, but to restrict them and put on a good performance with the bat. [Fielding] The outfields can be a bit tricky but it's about trying to get our processes right and attack the ball. We can definitely sharpen up in the field and with the ball. [Openers] Trying to take on the powerplay in 50-over cricket is a brilliant blueprint, they did that remarkably. And to not slow down, and for Bouch to get a hundred, Freya at the end, they were brilliant today."

And that is that from Grace Road for tonight. Valkerie's report will tell you everything you need to know if you weren't following along live. We'll be back for more from "Der-bados" (credit: Dominic Cork) on Thursday. Bye!

7.22pm: Well, things had looked a lot closer at halfway. Credit to Ireland for putting a decent score on the board; and a pat on the back for this experimental England side, who rose to the challenge and got the job done in some style. Maia Bouchier's hundred was the star turn, part of a belligerent opening stand with Sophia Dunkley, before Alice Capsey and Freya Kemp kept the hammer down to the end.

Murray to Kemp, OUT, looks to finish it with a six... but holes out! Kemp has to trudge off, and Murray has a third wicket. She got hold of the shot but didn't quite have enough on it to clear Tector on the deep midwicket rope

Murray to Kemp, no run, ooh, missed stumping chance! Kemp jumps out but the ball dips under her bat. She loses her footing trying to get a boot back over the line, but Hunter couldn't grab it cleanly
