Mississippi State star quarterback Kamario Taylor has been ruled out for Saturday's game at LSU.
Taylor, who originally injured his foot in a win over Missouri on Sept. 26, played through visible pain against Alabama two weeks ago and had to leave the game in the fourth quarter.
The sophomore, who was a top Heisman Trophy contender before the loss to Alabama, has thrown for 1,450 yards, 17 touchdowns and four interceptions. He is second on the team in rushing with 159 yards and one touchdown.
Mississippi State leading rusher Fluff Bothwell is also out. He has rushed for 403 yards and three touchdowns this season.
