Porter, Ryan ran for two touchdowns and passed for another to

lead the Eagles to a 30-10 Atlantic Coast Conference victory

over the Wolfpack.

Brian Clark scored on a 96-yard pass from Marcus Stone just

under five minutes into the game and John Deraney kicked a

48-yard field goal to open a 10-0 lead for the Wolfpack with

6:48 left in the first quarter.

Boston College (7-4, 4-3 ACC Atlantic) took a 17-10 lead at the

half after Ryan hit Chris Miller with a 17-yard TD pass with 24

seconds left in the second quarter.

three-yard TD in the third quarter and added a one-yard scoring

run with 1:50 to play to cap the scoring.

L.V. Whitworth, who pulled the Eagles within 10-7 with a

one-yard TD run late in the first quarter, finished with 119

yards on 26 carries.

NC State (4-5, 3-5 Atlantic) averaged 247 yards rushing over its

last two games, including a win over Florida State, but was

limited to 59 yards on 40 carries.
